BOLT Lifesaver has now been installed for 25 days and is getting close to complete the initial four week commissioning phase. Power production has been maintained continuously since installation at reduced power settings to verify functionality of all systems. Apart from a coolant pump failure with Generator 3 that has kept PTO3 disabled since Oct. 17th, data analysis and remote camera inspection indicates all systems are working as intended. Following an inspection visit scheduled for Nov. 8th, BOLT Sea Power engineers plan to ramp up generator settings to nominal values over the next couple of days, to see BOLT Lifesaver produce power at nominal levels, while continue to feed the onboard client system demand power load.
